Expert Witness Legal Report

David Trickey acts as an Expert Witness in various Court cases concerning children and families. He is frequently asked to provide an expert opinion concerning the psychological impact of difficult experiences and traumatic events. Assessments may include assessing parenting capacity and attachments, making appropriate diagnoses and offering recommendations for the future particularly concerning placement, contact and therapy. He has particular experience in the following:

Children who have been traumatically bereaved, especially through homicide
Children who have witnessed extreme domestic violence
Children who have been involved in road traffic accidents
Refugee and Asylum Seeking children
Children whose parents have separated
