Expert Witness

David acts as an Independent Expert Witness in approximately 10 cases per year. This is usually as a single joint expert appointed for a case in front of the Family Court. He also completes assessments of traumatised children and young people as part of criminal investigations and proceedings.He has particular expertise and extensive experience of working with children who have witnessed one parent murdering another. He has been consulted following critical incidents to inform the crisis response and he was commissioned by the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport to evaluate the Humanitarian Assistance Centre established in response to the London terrorist attacks on 7th July 2005.
